Privacy Policy

Kauai AI ("we," "us," or "our") operates social media accounts and content publishing tools on behalf of our own business. This Privacy Policy explains what information we access and how we use it when we connect to third-party platforms (such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube) through their official APIs.

What we access

When you (as the account owner) authorize our application through a platform's official OAuth login, we may access:

• Basic account information (account name, ID, profile details) for accounts we are authorized to manage
• Content we are authorized to publish, edit, or moderate on those accounts
• Comments, messages, and engagement data on content we manage, solely to respond to or analyze it
• Performance metrics (views, engagement, reach) made available by the platform's official API

We only request the minimum access (scopes) needed for the features we actually use, and only for accounts explicitly connected by their owner.

What we do not do

• We do not collect personal data from visitors to our own websites beyond standard, non-identifying web server logs
• We do not sell personal data or account data to third parties
• We do not access any account we have not been explicitly authorized to manage

How we store access credentials

OAuth access tokens are stored in an encrypted credential vault, never logged in plaintext, and never included in any message, report, or file shared outside of that secured storage. Tokens can be revoked at any time by the account owner through the connected platform's own settings.

AI-assisted content

Some content we publish is generated or assisted by AI tools. Where a platform requires disclosure of AI-generated content, we label it accordingly at the time of publishing.

Data retention and deletion

We retain account and content data only as long as needed to operate the connected account, or as required by the platform's own retention rules. To request deletion of data associated with your account, contact us at the email below.

We may update this policy as our tools and platform integrations evolve. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
